FAQ: THANKSGIVING ORDERS

When can I place my order for Thanksgiving?

Can I buy pies before the holiday and freeze them?

  • While fresh-baked pie is always our recommendation, some pies do freeze quite well. Pumpkin and pecan can be wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and frozen up to 1 month with a simple overnight thaw in the fridge. Fruit pies may also be frozen, and we are happy to include instructions for re-heating upon purchase. Just ask our staff!  

When is the last day to pre-order for Thanksgiving pies?

  • Ordering closes on Sunday, 11/15 at 5pm OR when we sell out of our allotted quantities for each flavor, whichever comes first.

  • Please note, we HIGHLY recommend ordering sooner rather than later as we are a small bake shop and have a limited amount of oven capacity. This means we may need to cut off ordering sooner than the above date.

Will you have any extra pies for sale on Wednesday, 11/25?

  • At this time, we are planning to have extra inventory for walk-in availability. Please follow us on social media for updates.

    We are a small staff, so we will not be able to accommodate phone calls to place holds on any items that could potentially be available on Wednesday, 11/25. Any extras that we would have will be available on a first come, first served basis with no guarantees on flavors or quantities.

What are shop hours the week of Thanksgiving?

  • Hours on Wednesday, 11/25 will be 10am-2pm for pre-order pick up, walk-in pie and cookie availability and retail shopping. We will be closed Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving week. Stay tuned to our social media pages and an email for info on small business Saturday!

I placed an order, but our plans have changed. Can I cancel my order? 

  • Please make your selections carefully! We are not able to issue refunds, changes or exchanges to your order after an order has been placed. There will be no exceptions made. Orders not picked up by 2pm will be donated.

I am leaving town, can I pick up my order on Tuesday? 

  • Unfortunately we do not have extra staff to accommodate special requests. All orders are freshly baked and packaged for pickup Wednesday, 11/25 with doors opening at 10am. 

Do I have to come right away to pick up my pre-order?

  • Nope! In fact, if you have some flexibility in your day, you are welcome to arrive a bit later to pick up your pre-order, as long as it's before we close at 2pm. We typically experience a large rush of folks right away at 10am, so if you can help us stagger your pick up time, we would so appreciate it!

I don't see the flavor I want to order for Thanksgiving on the menu. Can you make a special request for me? 

  • Due to the volume of pies baked during Thanksgiving week, we limit our menu to our most requested holiday pies. We will not be able to accommodate special requests.

Do you make gluten-free pies?

  • We do not make gluten free pies.

Can I order cutie pies?

  • Unfortunately, we won't have time to add the small cutie pies to our bake-athon for this holiday. Only full size pies will be available to pre-order.
