Here are a few of our most frequently asked questions that may assist you before contacting us.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many servings do you get from the full size pie?
A: Our full size pies are 9", serves 6-8.
Q: Do you sell pie by the slice?
A: Yes, we typically have a variety of flavors. Visit our shop for menu options*, as our menu changes daily. *this item may not be available during the holidays - subject to availability.
Q: Do you deliver?
A: We do not have the extra staff to offer this service. However, many of our customers use a local delivery service. Call our bakery for details.
Q: Do you decorate pies for a birthday or special occasion?
A: We love birthday pies...but they really weren't meant to decorate, it's not cake. However, candles or fun party-toothpick flags can turn that special pie into a real party!
Q: Do you have anything sugar-free?
A: We have a select menu of no-sugar added, full size 9" pies that can be pre-ordered 48 hours in advance of the date you'd like to pick it up. Subject to blackout holiday dates.
Q: Do you bake anything vegan or gluten-free?
A: Our Coconut Macaroons is the only item on our menu that does not contain flour. Please note, our facility does not allow us to ensure a cross-contamination-free environment. Vegan and GF is not our specialty, therefore we have chosen not to carry any other items.
Q: I pre-ordered and no longer want my order. Can I cancel?
A: Pre-ordered pies are specially made for your order and baked with love just for you. Therefore, 72 hours notice (non-holiday week) is required for cancellation and refund of a pre-order. Pre-orders for holidays can not be canceled and are not refundable. Refunds are not offered for day of/phone pre-ordered items. Refunds are not offered for items that are not picked up after the scheduled pick-up date.
Q: Do you ship?
A: We do not ship - sorry but it's not much fun receiving an upside down pie in the mail and shipping costs are outrageous for overnight air delivery! We would rather you find a local bakery to support.
Q: Do you offer discounts for large orders of pies and cookies?
A: If you need a discount - we are not your bakeshop. We are a locally owned, small "made from scratch" bakery. We love our team and we do not discount their wages nor do we receive a discount on ingredients from our suppliers.
To place a larger order (20 or more pies) please contact our special-order team.
Q: How should I store my pie?
A: All of our pies are made without preservatives, so please follow our recommended storage methods closely to ensure your pie stays fresh:
Fruit Pies: Best kept in their box in a cool, dry place until ready to serve. Good for up to 2-3 days from pick-up. To prolong the life, refrigerate it up to 5 days from pick-up.
Pecan Pies: Best kept in their box in a cool, dry place until ready to serve. Good for up to 4 days from pick-up. To prolong the life, you can wrap it tightly and freeze for up to 3 weeks.
Our custard and cream pies require refrigeration and are good for up to 3 days from pick-up when refrigerated.
Meringue pies require refrigeration. It is best to serve and enjoy this pie the day of pick-up.
Q: Can I freeze pie?
A: We don't promote this because the overall quality will suffer freezing a fresh baked pie, but it is an option.
Wrap pie in plastic & place it in the pie box to freeze.
- Fruit Pie: remove plastic and thaw at room temp. 3 hours. To crispen, bake 425 approx. 12-15 min.
- Pecan Pie: take pie out of plastic bag & place in pie box for a slow thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Bake 350/10min.
- Pumpkin Pie: Long slow thaw in the refrigerator, 12 hr.
